On this episode, Steve and Britt discuss the classic sophomore album by thrash legends The Crucified, “The Pillars of Humanity”. This fast, riff-heavy album was release in 1991 by Ocean Records and rereleased by Tooth and Nail in 2009.
I purchased and wore this cassette out during the initial years of my salvation. The energy of the music, combined with the straightforward, hard-hitting lyrics, matched well with my new convert zeal and passion for Christ. I genuinely appreciate Crucified’s intense, unique, and powerfully encouraging contribution to the Christian hard rock scene; they were at the right place and time for me. To this day, their music is a force to be reckoned with!
