We kick off 2025 with a breakdown of the classic 1986 album from Altar Boys, Gut Level Music. One of the first albums released on Frontline Records, it marked a big step forward in sound and maturity for this legendary SoCal band.
Thank you for the review of GLM. It was very fair, honest and gracious. And you are correct: I wrote “There is a Love” – probably my favorite song off the record – and sadly one that we rarely did because the harmony was so hard to pull off live. Also, the GLM cover was my idea – exactly what I envisioned. And I was not hip to the ATG cover either, it was a frontline “idea” and we just went along with it because they said it will be “great” – and it really wasn’t ..God bless you and thank you again!!
